The rules governing your use of Mocklog
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mocklog website, web platform, mobile application, and related services (together, the "Services"). The Services are operated by Sunshine Learning (UK) Limited, trading as Mocklog ("Mocklog", "we", "our", or "us").
Sunshine Learning (UK) Limited is registered in England and Wales under company number 07869825. Its registered office is 27 Watford Road, Wembley, England, HA0 3ET.
By creating an account, buying a subscription or digital product, downloading the app, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use Mocklog.
Mocklog is an independent AI-assisted educational practice platform for 11+ grammar school entrance preparation. It helps parents and children generate practice papers, answer practice questions, receive scoring and explanations, and review progress across practice sessions.
Mocklog is for educational practice only. It is not an examination board, school, admissions authority, publisher, or official test provider. It does not provide official examination content or official admissions advice.
The Services may include free trial access, paid subscriptions, one-off practice papers, downloadable PDF papers, parent dashboards, practice reports, exam-mode features, audio simulator features, and related educational tools.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, manage a child's use of Mocklog, or make a purchase.
Mocklog accounts must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. Children must not create paid accounts independently. Where a child uses the Services, that use must be under parental or guardian supervision.
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, keeping your account secure, and ensuring that Mocklog is used appropriately by any child using the Services through your account.
You are responsible for keeping login details secure and for all activity carried out through your account. You must tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
We may require reasonable verification before making significant account changes, including changes connected with access, billing, deletion, or account ownership.
Mocklog is intended for child use under parental supervision. The product is currently focused on 11+ grammar school entrance preparation and similar practice tasks.
Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding whether the content, difficulty level, target school selection, and practice plan are suitable for their child. Parents should not enter unnecessary personal information about a child into the Services.
Mocklog currently does not require children to create their own accounts or provide identifying account information directly.
Mocklog uses AI-assisted systems, software tools, educational prompts, and internal review processes to generate or support practice papers, questions, answers, explanations, scoring support, progress summaries, weak-area analysis, and learning recommendations.
AI-generated content can be useful, but it can also contain errors, omissions, duplicated questions, unsuitable difficulty levels, formatting issues, incomplete explanations, or scoring inaccuracies. We do not guarantee that every question, answer, explanation, score, or recommendation will be error-free.
AI-generated output is educational guidance only. It should be reviewed by a parent or guardian and must not be relied on as the sole basis for educational, admissions, or placement decisions.
Mocklog is completely independent. It is not authorised, endorsed, approved, sponsored by, licensed by, or commercially connected with any school, grammar school, independent school, local authority, admissions consortium, examination board, test provider, publisher, or educational body.
School names, regions, exam-board names, acronyms, and exam-style labels are used only as factual or descriptive references to help parents choose broad practice categories. These references do not mean that the relevant organisation has reviewed, supplied, approved, licensed, or endorsed Mocklog or its content.
Mocklog practice papers are AI-generated practice materials. They are not official GL Assessment, CEM, CSSE, school, local authority, consortium, or examination-board papers.
Parents remain responsible for checking current admissions arrangements, official test provider information, application deadlines, eligibility rules, catchment rules, exam formats, and school requirements directly with the relevant official source.
Mocklog may offer free access, monthly subscriptions, annual subscriptions, one-off practice papers, PDF download features, and other digital educational products.
The current plans, prices, paper limits, features, billing periods, and any promotional offers will be shown on the pricing page and at checkout. You should review the checkout information carefully before purchasing.
Free access may include a limited number of trial papers or restricted features. We may change free features, paid features, paper allowances, pricing, or plan structure from time to time.
A price change for an existing paid subscription will apply from the next renewal date unless the law requires or permits a different approach.
Payments for Mocklog subscriptions and digital products are taken through the Mocklog website or web platform using Stripe. Payments are not currently processed inside the iOS or Android app, and Apple App Store or Google Play billing is not currently used for subscriptions.
Mocklog does not directly store, process, or view your full credit or debit card details. Card and payment details are handled by Stripe or another authorised payment provider if we introduce one in the future.
You are responsible for ensuring that payment information is accurate and that sufficient funds are available for renewals and purchases.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel future renewals through your account settings or by contacting us if account cancellation settings are not available.
Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically refund amounts already paid, except where required by law or where we agree otherwise.
If you cancel a subscription, access will normally continue until the end of the current paid billing period, unless the subscription terms shown at checkout state otherwise.
If you believe a paper, download, score, explanation, or feature is materially defective, please contact support@mocklog.co.uk with details. Where required by law, we may provide a correction, replacement, reasonable extension, credit, partial refund, or refund.
Under UK consumer law, consumers may have a 14-day right to cancel certain distance contracts. For digital content supplied immediately, you may be asked to give express consent for immediate supply and to acknowledge that you lose the 14-day cancellation right once access or download begins.
This does not affect your statutory rights where digital content is faulty, not as described, not supplied with reasonable care and skill, or where a refund or remedy is required by applicable law.
Mocklog may be downloaded through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Your use of the app may also be subject to the applicable app store terms and device usage rules.
Subscriptions are currently managed through the Mocklog website and Stripe rather than through app-store subscription billing. Apple and Google are not responsible for Mocklog subscriptions, website checkout, educational content, support, or the operation of the Services.
You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use Mocklog for private, non-commercial educational practice within your household, subject to these Terms.
You may print or save downloaded materials for your own household's private educational use only, provided that you do not redistribute them or remove any copyright, watermark, ownership, or disclaimer notice.
You must not use Mocklog in any way that is unlawful, abusive, harmful, misleading, or interferes with the operation of the platform. You must not:
All rights in the Services and Mocklog materials are owned by or licensed to Sunshine Learning (UK) Limited, except for third-party rights expressly acknowledged.
This includes the software, branding, website and app design, user interface, graphics, layouts, databases, scoring structures, reports, prompts, compiled educational materials, and original AI-assisted content created for Mocklog.
You do not acquire ownership of any Mocklog content by using the Services, buying a subscription, downloading a paper, or receiving a report.
You must not copy, sell, licence, publish, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit Mocklog materials without our prior written consent, except where permitted by law.
We respect copyright, trade mark rights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights. Mocklog does not knowingly intend to infringe third-party rights.
If any school, examination board, test provider, publisher, rights holder, or other third party believes that any content, wording, category, label, design, or other material on Mocklog infringes its rights or creates confusion, it should contact support@mocklog.co.uk with enough information for us to review the concern.
Where appropriate, we may amend, rename, replace, disable, remove, or restrict access to relevant content or categories without admitting liability. We reserve all rights and defences.
Sunshine Learning (UK) Limited claims rights only in the original compilation, arrangement, formatting, presentation, software, database structure, prompts, and original content created for Mocklog. We do not claim ownership of third-party intellectual property.
Mocklog does not currently allow users to upload documents, images, scanned papers, or files. If upload functionality is introduced in the future, additional terms may apply.
Where the Services allow answers to be entered into the app, you must not enter unlawful, harmful, confidential, or infringing material, or unnecessary personal information about a child.
Mocklog currently provides individual progress tracking only. Users do not see public leaderboards, percentile rankings, or comparisons against other named users.
If we introduce comparative or benchmarking features in the future, we will aim to use aggregated or anonymised data and will update the relevant privacy information where required.
We aim to keep Mocklog available and working properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous access. Access may be affected by maintenance, updates, outages, internet problems, cyber incidents, third-party service failures, or other technical issues.
We may update, correct, replace, suspend, withdraw, rename, restrict, or delete any paper, question, answer, explanation, score, feature, download, category, or service where we reasonably believe it is inaccurate, unsuitable, technically defective, unlawful, commercially necessary, or may infringe third-party rights.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we reasonably believe that these Terms have been breached, payment has failed, fraud or abuse is suspected, account sharing or unauthorised redistribution is occurring, content is being scraped or copied, the Services are being commercially misused, a security risk exists, or we are required to do so by law.
We may use watermarking, usage monitoring, rate limiting, and other security measures to protect the Services and our intellectual property.
The Services may rely on third-party providers, including hosting providers, database providers, payment processors, authentication providers, AI providers, analytics providers, crash-reporting providers, email providers, and app stores.
Your use of those third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third-party services except where the law makes us responsible.
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. These explain how personal data, cookies, analytics tools, crash-reporting tools, and similar technologies are used.
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that every question is error-free, every AI response is accurate, every paper matches a specific school or exam format, the Services will always be uninterrupted, educational outcomes will improve, or any child will pass an examination or gain admission to any school.
Educational decisions, admissions decisions, school applications, revision plans, and reliance on practice results remain the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.
Subject to the above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Sunshine Learning (UK) Limited, its directors, employees, contractors, and service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or business losses arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Services.
This includes loss of opportunity, loss of expected examination result, loss of school place, loss of chance, disappointment, missed deadlines, incorrect school selection, reliance on inaccurate admissions assumptions, technical interruption, AI-generated errors, scoring inaccuracies, or user misuse of the Services.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability shall be limited to the greater of the total amount paid by you to Mocklog in the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim or £100, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Services, pricing, features, legal requirements, payment arrangements, or business operations. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the Services or the registered parent email address.
Continued use of Mocklog after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any terms shown at checkout, form the agreement between you and Sunshine Learning (UK) Limited for the Services.
We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate restructuring, or sale of assets. Your consumer rights will not be unfairly affected.
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in another UK jurisdiction.
